This is a very common topic and something everyone wants to know... "what management do i use?" So here everyone can post what they've experienced using various management systems (or know of). maybe other technical questions can be answered as well

Well, just by looking at the Mr Turbo software, it doesn't look like they've put much effort into it.

If you're gonna go piggy-back, then rather go SMT6.
With Dastek Unichip, only certified dealers can tune the car for you: You can't do anything to it yourself.
With SMT6 you can at least do some tuning yourself if you want to, and then you can learn a bit about tuning.

I had a dastek chip, tried to get hold of the software - no luck, and sold it again. dunno y the guys are so. I say smt7 for piggyback, and diktator for full management. Reason : Smt6 everyone reccomends, but smt7 looks better, then the diktator cars run exse (that blue golf)

SMT7 is for the newer cars with the extra cam sensors and stuff. Not necessary for most Opels, especially the 8v's. Dunno about the ones with coil packs, as Shaggy says.
With Dastek, you need the software AND a special box that connects between the chip and the PC. Someone was selling it for R700 on eBay a while back, but it's too much of a risk because Dastek won't support you if the thing breaks or you need help.

a chip manipulates your sensors and fools the ecu to get performance.
A management is in charge of everything. With management only your dash lights wil work from the standard ecu. Everything else ur management
