Any one else had this problem? The other day I noticed my screen was pushing out on 1 side so I decided to take the cover off and thats when I noticed my battery had swollen by about 3mm. So I googled it and its apparently VERY common. Samsung announced in Europe that they will replace any batteries with this fault but I dont see the same notice for SA. Will go to Samsung tomorrow to see what they say but I'm really unhappy about this. Also I cant use the phone anymore unless its connected to a charger, after that battery swelled it cant hold its charge so even on 90% full it just switches off and cant switch back on. So much for buying a top of the range phone and it lasts 3 months... Bring back the 3310!

Buy a iPhone and you will never have these problems , the difference between Apple and Samsung/etc is quality . Apple does quality and durability over quantity , it is more expensive but you pay for what you get ! Samsung lowers their prices for more profit and quantity sales , and then people think they have these amazing phones .

yip the girl at work had the same problem!! They sent the phone away for about 4 weeks!

Yes I had the problem, y worried take it to smart lab will take 1day and they will give you a brand new battery free of charge.
Samsung best service ever!
ADH you can ma let the battery blow up also they will give you a new one.

Take yourS4 directly to them and dont go to any cellular network as they tog send it to them.
The the official S4 repair guys and super good .
Contact maggie she will sort you out .
Since the new battery and new 4.2.2 update I get 19hours out of her on heavy use which is now very imprresive compared to weak 6hours i got before when playing games and stuff.

Took my phone in, they bagged it and said it will be repaired, no questions asked.
Only problem is it will take a week as they have no stock on batteries as its such a big problem with the S4's...
