They opened up about 6-8 months ago, I think. Adds to the tally of cruel-restaurants-giving-off-nice-food-smells-as-you-leave-the-gym! Anyways, they were handing out R50 vouchers last month so they gave me one as I left the gym. Shujinko got one also. Eat for R200 or more, get R50 off. Finally redeemed it last night & I'm so sorry i did cos' I still had to fork out R240 with tip, but moreso cos' the food was terrible. Passion fruit & lemonade: Im sure the passion fruit was not roses's, but 11-in-1 passion fruit. So strong that it killed the gas of the lemonade! Mussels - were old & once in your mouth, they would break into tiny pieces so they were defintely old Prawns - not done properly, most of them were raw Linefish - was also not lekker, gf complained it was old & left an itchy sensation on her tongue Calamari tubes - no taste The only nice thing was the calamari heads We didn't complain, gf is normally the 1st one to do so (she's gemini  dad was also gemini - they quick to complain), but this time we didn't have the energy to do so. We left most of the food, paid & left John Dorys & Bella Bellota in Paarl, if you want good seafood

astra been broken for a month now guy - using a friend's car - for work n home - cnt just abuse it and roam in CJ etc
swak about basket - i actually thought you guys would enjoy it

Last time I ate there was probs December last year. Wont go there agen, lol
la Romantica/ bella is probs my fave place to eat in Paarl. I see a Simply Asia is opening up soon just up the road.

^^ya I saw that Simply Asia, looks pretty small though.
That venue was a pub + guesthouse before..I still remenber my dad stayed there back in 95' when he came to check out Paarl before bringing us all down from KZN.
