Hey guys.. so i need some advice...
I removed the vents a few months ago.. and it damaged the side. so I repainted the whole thing but guess i was too hasty.. so eventually the paint started making bubbles.. Now I sanded down all the paint .. got my Red LEDs and need to do something to the dash..
I want to use carbon fibre vinyl. but pantera told me that in time it does loosen up at the stretched parts. also I struggle to get all the wrinkles out escpecially in some corners. but I used the interior 2D carbon fibre sticker for a tester so maybe i must get the exterior carbon fibre vinyl or i must get someone to do it for me but where or who? or I must just repaint it.. I thought of doing it silver again.. like shown above or maybe gloss black..
What you guys think.. ?

I was also considering doing this on my car (Astra F). I am just worried about the thickness of the vinyl film and if everything will still fit after it's on. I also done my dash in silver many years ago and now it's starting to flake, so I am also going to redo it.
I was also leaning towards the Black plasti dip with the Plasti dip glossifier over the top of it. To get more of a "corsa OPC" type look to the dash, as I am over the silver. lol. Thus the carbon vinyl thoughts.
Has anyone ever used the glossifers over the black plasti dip that maybe has pictures of how it comes out? I have seen it on youtube on wheels, but thats it.

Hi guys in my experiance it's best to use a plastic primer then your color and then a good clear coat and what I've noticed nobody mentioned preparation that is most importent you need to ruff up plastic with atleast 320p dry sand paper that's if you dealing with bare plastic if it is factory sprayed then you won't need a primer just a 400p water and soap flat

Don't skimp on the clearcoat either.
