I'm looking for a shop or person who is experienced in working with dell's.... i'm having memory issues, my 2gb ram became 1gb just now and the baaaaastit does not always switch on. i've spoken to some experts (localboy  ) and he thinks it might have taken a knock... i do carry it with me everyday and move around alot... where the teccies and sparkies at???

thanks alot guys!!! i dismantled it and found that the 1 ram cradle seems to be mad... gonna try and clean it... but gonna pay mr therecanbeonly1 a visit tonight

i did that after 3 hours of struggling with the ram. then eventually got it to switch on... then it said ram is reduced
