to top it off he is a Southern Hemisphere ref (i.e. from Australia) so he will never blow against the likes of Richie McCaw when he plays the ball on the ground when its a ruck or when the rest of the New Zealanders were allowed to lie across the ball at Newlands on Saturday. They got away with murder like that in the Super14 and they will always get away with it in the Tri-Nations

If you recall there warm-up matches against the European sides earlier in the year, the ref's spotted the illegal play on the ground by New Zealand and they were nailed for it because the ref's came from the Northern Hemisphere, also if you look at last years RWC they were nailed there as well with that style of play and I think that's why they didnt make it far and chocked at the end because they implement illegal tactics

bt in any event the BOKKA was moered on Newlands and it was vrek lekker drowning my sorrows afterwards, had a lekker kop seer the next day

@scruti.. - nah man me not making excuses, think the coaches along with the players realized/admitted they are proffessionals and they were expected to do much better thats all but i think its more the the BOK supporters who felt hard done by the weak performance on the day...

plus after the game so me and my lady went to Cubana Claremont and you had to see how many supporters made to the sacrifice to come from East London, Pretoria, Durban, etc to watch the game.. bt shame man to them cause that a whole lotta money they wasted!

I missed the game, was listening to the afrikaans commentators on the radio . No there was nothing wrong with the tv.

in any event and apart from the ref.. "all in all" that was the worst performance of live rugby i've seen at newlands.. ok maybe the Crusaders vs. Stomers game earlier this year in the Super 14 where we lost like 22-0!!!!!!!!!!
