I am not really clued up on the latest way to mod a 360, is anyone offering this service on the forum? Other posts here are quite old... Could you please send me a PM with a price and where you (or the person who does it) stays? The closer to Bellville/Durbanville the better Also, what is the going rate nowadays to get one modded? or, a link to a good DIY would be appreciated Thanks

Thats why personally I would jtag it rather. You jtag once and never have to update it, its chipping the box instead of flashing the firmware. Its abit pricier but you only gonna do it once.

crispy boss wrote: thats so vague. i still have no idea whats klapping You can google it. Basically its a chip, that they install, that puts the machine in the developer mode or something like that, allowing you to play copies as well as play off a hdd.

A friend of mine in Mitchell's Plain. He charges 550 for jtag. I think he's running a special, 550 to jtag and you get 10 games free. But I must just confirm with him.
