The Blacktop Rally, the rip-roaring 3,000km roadtrip across South Africa is proud to announce the signing of Rockstar Energy Drinks as a primary sponsor of the 2012 rally.
On the 29th April 2012, 50 drivers will embark on the wildest roadtrip in South Africa. An incredible variety of cars from old school Plymouth Barracuda's and Chevelle's to modern high-tech sports cars such as BMW M3's and Nissan GT-R's will spend 6 days exploring the best blacktop on their way from Johannesburg to Cape Town.

Taking some of the most spectacular and scenic back-roads in South Africa, the Blacktop 2012 will combine fantastic road driving, race-circuit events and outrageous parties at the rally checkpoints.
