They stole ours last night. muthafcukers!!
We had no water this morning
Municipality says we have to replace it - R1400
But Im gonna make a scene there if i have to. The meter is within 1.5m from the road & thats their property if im not mistaken
Ai, im fedup with everything

just get a plumber in the meantime to connect it without meter in place so long while u resolve the issue. I'm sure that will get their attention. Send a mail to them that you are going to do that so u have proof that you informed them. They will most probably only respond within 3 weeks or so, then u can make up for the water meter cost.

Same thing happen to us not so long ago,just call the municipality or the water number in the back of the fone book(thats whr i got it)
Then the send out pple to fix it and replace the water meter the same day.

had a huge leak at the water meter, called the municipality, within an hour they replaced all the connection at the meter (they had to dig for it too).
they not that bad.

Ok they coming out at 10am
But its a friend of my mothers who works at the municipality here. Apparently one of the supervisors
However, my brother says the meter is on our boundary wall
Waiting to hear what this municipality oke has to say
