Apologies to this man firstly for mis quoting for the job. Sorry. As Kalu can tell you a bosch regulator for this corsa style alti's cost over R300(real bosch). Rectifier about also R300 if not more, rotor I'm not evens sure. But anyways we had stock of bosch regs so it woulda costed me R200 and I qouted R50labour and testing skeeming ext(ya I know its stupid but club member mos),I didn't know I have to remove and fit the alternator lol. But that's not the point when I removed it was dirty looked like the stator over heated, checked everything and traced the issue to the rectifier and worn slip ring. Since those parts woulda costed over R600 I bought In a golf gti alternator(car had 50 600km on the clock then this lady wrote it off..she works near me) for R300,stripd and used those newish parts and fitted it to slv's alti, then serviced and tested the hole thing, cleaned and sprayed it and the voltage jumped from 12.6v charging to 14.11v! :D. Brilliant! Spent R300,still stuck to the R50 labour, not bad for a job that would of been R850 at a shop. Plus a car wash lol.So service your stuff guys! Will save u a lot.

Yup thats the F00M* regulator for the opels, defintely not the cheapest of regulators out there, especially not in original Bosch.

Nice work man, its good to see people doing proper work for a decent price.
