Brilliant service from the get go. As I pulled up Chris ran to my car. Put on a set of MY01's on the tS. Klomp geld but you have to do what you have to do. Ma daai man is do gevaarlik hy sal maak laat ek nog geld uitgee. Joh.

Brilliant service all round and they picked up that 3 of my 5 wheel nuts weren't tightend (and I got the car back a day before from my tuner). I heard a sound onmy steering but 'Piet' picked it up.

Going back there soon for my Eibach kit.

Shotto for Autoquip Tygervalley

I hope you didn't get a dud My-01, Bridgestones are not my favorite tyres.

How much for the eibach install?

I fitted a set of 4 awhile back, never had any issues, they even took some punishment at killarney with 3 biggish burnouts.

Got another 2 now, due to a moment of stupidity where I did a burnout on a normal road. Not 1 failure.

I got 2 duds in a row. The problem is you deal with Bridgestone Head Office in Montague gardens, not the branch you bought the tires at.

I am still sitting with a dud on my car due to Bridgestone not willing to get me another tyre, even though the new tyre they ordered was worse than the first dud it was going to replace. That was the final nail in the coffin, I would never support/buy or reccomend anyone deals with Bridgestone ever again.

Michelin now recieves my support.

Got 4 x 205/45/R16's on the Corsa, very happy with them + they a good-looking tyre as well.

Just the price for this profile & size combination is hectic..

Ja, I get 2 tyres for the same price you pay for 1.

I wanted to get 16s, but the tyre price scares me.

Hankook & Yoki's 205/45/R16's are about R950 - R1000 each so you can get get cheaper than R1300 each MY-01's. But I was too hasty that day & went for the MY-01's :|
Regret the price, don't regret the tyre though

To put it into perspective my Ute's 205/40/R17 Hankook's cost R770 each incl. vat compared to the price of the 16" MY-01's on the Corsa.

It's the profile man:
205/45/R16 MY-01 = R1300
205/55/R16 MY-01 = +- R850

I did however pay R2060 vat incl. for 4 x 175/65/R14 Falkens ZE322 on my Polo though, it felt really good fitting 4 brand-spanking new tyres for that price

I received 2 brand new MY-01's from Theo at the H/O in M/Gardens last week. Went there the first time (Autoquip secured the appt. for me) cos' the right front tyre on the Corsa had a very slight uneven-ness on it.

They did all the tests they had too at the H/O's tech centre next to the main building, we took it for a drive & you could still feel that very slight vibration at around 100km/h. Theo secured a 2nd appt. for me (which was last week), once he got a set of new MY-01's in, & he replaced the front & back tyres on the right side (cos' he said the back was also a bit uneven)

Great service & customer care & I also now sit with 2 new tyres, so I'm happy.

Also bear in mind that the Corsa has an Eibach pro kit fitted, with tS rims...so he could have been full of sh!t & said the rims nor tyre size is ideal / meant for the Corsa. But he replaced it with no hassles.
