I think i have REEEAAAALLLYYYY bad luck with garages, anyway so last night i went to fillup the UTE just after 10pm at Sasol, the total came to R551,30. I go inside to pay with my card and gave the attendant that help me a R5 (for telling me my system sounds nice and my lights look lekker lol) anyway the machine is taking a very long time to print the slip, eventually it declines and prints the slip with the response code of why it declined, meanwhile my phone is going off with a debit of R551,30 from Sasol Modderdam Road at this point the whole garage is confused and calls the manager, i cant remember her name but i tell you she is the most friendliest person in the world she asked if we can do the transaction again but she assures me the money will be reimbursed within 30minutes, not having any reason to doubt her i tell her its fine go ahead and this time it all goes through fine. as soon as i got to my girlfriends house (5 minutes away from the garage) i got a sms to say the money has been reversed back into my account...this was already my favourite garage to go to because the attendants are very friendly and helpful this just confirms that there is people out there that wants to do a good job and help out their customers.

if its 53L then in essence you would should be paying about R540/R550 to fill up more or less with the old petrol price.

C Ute has a 45L tank guys.

Don't drive until your tank is empty-empty. You are then sucking up all the dirt & muck from the bottom of your tank.

45L and a R500/R600 bill does not add :| up.

Freakishly weird! Even with reserve it should take max 50L if you force it and / or fill all the fuel lines up!

I think you have a GUZZLER!

Post subject:  Re: Sasol Modderdam Road

Wait, I think i'm mistaken. I read now that it has a 50L tank apparently, but my Ute can never take more than 50 litres at a time...seriously :eh:

Post subject:  Re: Sasol Modderdam Road

lol you were making me worried man i thought it was very strange if it only had a 45litre, so yours is the broken one lol

Author:  Corsa Addict [ 01 Feb 2012, 14:08 ]
Post subject:  Re: Sasol Modderdam Road

No, I wouldn't say mine is broken, mine just takes less fuel than yours  which is a good thing for me! :D

I'll prove it, next time I'll fill the tank from empty (when light comes on for the first time, not flashing) & I'll post the slip

Mine has never taken more than 45litres from empty

lol it makes no sense because if i do have a bigger tank my petrol still flys, i filled up yesterday and will probably have to put in petrol again saturday

Post subject:  Re: Sasol Modderdam Road

nah im 100% sure all C Ute's have 50L tanks then, chev's ute's included
you probably just drive alot faster than me & you do travel alot more than i do as well so thats why you use more juice..lol

thorp told me they have 45l tanks & when i saw that i only 45l's of fuel can go into my tank from empty i accepted that it was a 45l tank

but ya i dont understand how u get 53l of fuel into your tank & i cannot

anyways, i aint complaining..lol
