This was a while ago.. was in feb.. My mom went shopping here in plumstead at the shopright on a sunday mid day 12:00 and was followed home by a matalic green ford escort.. my mom didnt notice the car following.. so my mom pulled in the driveway as she opened her door they parked the car in 2 guys got out and threw my mom accross the grass and strangled her that she almost blacked out and then drove off with her 5 month old stock standerd Golf 4 GTI  insurance only paid out R60k i mean wtf..? Last month they got hold of the car in a roadblock in grassypark.. the police let us know.. we went to go look at the car and its completely modified 18'' rims powerflow exhaust cams all that stuffs.. We called the insurance and asked whats ganna happen now, they said nothing because they have paid out already (only 60K) last week we saw them selling the car for R97k and there is nothing we can do how sh!te is that  _________________  toyota corolla 1600 12 valve (automatic)ex - Vw beach buggy 1600 twin port96 Opel Kadett 1.4i

Even though the insurance company setteled you, you stil have first option to buy the car back at a percentage of the value. What insurance company are you with?

no ways man. That is stollen property no matter who he bought it from... By law that is still your car, it has nothing to do with the insurance.
Go to the cops and tell them they need to go with you to collect your moms car! You must be nuts to buy your own car back that was stollen...
