Hi guys not quite sure what to do but I have sold a cam (72 Billet)meone I have seen around my neigbourhood and claimed to be a founder of the Opel Owned's club back when it started. I have sold one two things to giuys gefore without any issues and I s genuine with the guy I told him he could take the can have it checked if his mechanic said it was good he could pay men or just return it if there were any issues. Needless to say he never brought it back, has installed it in his car and is driving by me every now and then. I am not too worries about the money, but the though that he used teh club name and could do this to someelse bothers I have started the leagl route with him so that's that. What do we do with guy's like this? :veryvery:

You posted in the wrong section, post in experiences.

As for the problem. It may be true he did start an Opel Owners club, since many clubs (not specifically Opel) have been started, but that means little or nothing actually. You shouldn't have attached any merit to such a statement.

You also say in the same breath that you are not worried about the money but you are taking legal action. Legal action here will be difficult since you need some sort of proof, for instance, a written record such as a receipt that he took the cam from you in such and such a condition on such and such a date.

In terms of what to do with him, one can only determine that once his side of the story has been told and all the facts confirmed.

The only way that you can take legal action is if you are a registered retailer, service provider. I think... :okka:

I have clients that dont pay sometimes that gets their asses handed to a debt collector, but you musta have legal proof that the ttransaction takes place, otherwise it's just your word against his. Go take the cam back, and soma he's wife or sumthing also. I bought something from you before, so I know you good for your word :duim:

Sounds like you’re a friend of his LOL. No paperwork needed we having a legally binding verbal agreement, I did not take him on his word because he is said he started up an Opel Club but because he lives in my area, he’s cousin and mechanic works at Delta in my area,I have bumped into him at our local shopping Mall, I know where he stays, and we have common acquaintances, he drives a neat Monza with 17’s TSW wheels, little drop job. It’s nice for me to pass quality parts to other Opel enthusiasts. I am not worried about the money cause the cam was just sitting in my garage and I am sure i will get my money out of him (not my opinion but that of my layer). I though it may be an idea to mention these guys so he does not knock someone else. He told me money is no problem to him, more than three months later no payment......

I am in Soneike, Kuilsriver he stays in Annadale on the other side of Amandel.

Okay, I know who you're talking about, but I've been around the club for about 10 years now and I've only started seeing that guy this year for the first time.

I'm in Gladioli Street.

I don't know his name, but I posted a pic of the car a while back.

Someone from CCC is a friend of his.
