I can understand your points
But...If I am purchasing a flagship phone of a renowned co. I kinda expect it to have no / very little snags
Especially after all the marketing & promoting behind it

Sales not affected, them not caring, some brand-blind people

Eish man

:D

Same thing happens everywhere. Remember the Corsa OPC. Just saying.

Junk car yes. Regardless- how many blew up that were still standard ? Just saying

What makes a Samsung charger so unique from the rest of the others, if it's used for the same purpose and that to charge the battery. That's sh!t talk.

Will be dropping my phone off today :wtf:

Just a quick question... Have you updated your android 4.2.2 to Android 4.3 before having these issues?

Apparently the android software update had a few glitches: Read this link, apparently explaining shorter battery life, etc....

Murphy's law... phone didn't want to charge at work on any of my colleagues chargers, so I went to Samsung and had them check it out. It charged with no problems.... Ai.

They also offered to downgrade to Android 4.2.2, as 4.3 has bug issues. Fetching the phone at today 12 :)

That's actually fast

Bud had s4 mini screen replaced - booked it in last week wed around midday. Thurs midday he was notified it's ready. He has complained regarding their attitudes though. Hahaha

You know.... when this thread came up, the first thing i said was OH sh!te i HOPE it DOESNT happen to ME!!! and then BAM! just like that, it did... lol

phone went in today, dropped it off at CELL C Canal walk. Same issue, swollen battery, intermittent switching off.

I asked what the cause is, they say its due to mass producing... so it most probably will be all the 1st batches of the S4 to give that problem.

PS.

I neva ova charge my fone, always use samsung charger, for 3 hours max.... only a few times with my gf's nokia charger at her place. but i never left it over night or more then 3 hours to charge, the samsung charger charges super quick

My gf picked up her phone this past Sat

Hopefully it doesnt happen again - all her stuff was wiped though (she did backup her album & stuff) - but games & high scores, etc. were gone

I read somewhere that they say these S4's must not be charged for longer than an hour?

lol the S4 will take forever if u use a blackberry charger, and its takes long with a nokia and sony charger.

It does actually charge full in probably 1hr and 30min, shall do a test when i do get it back.

As for the high scores and games,,, u must always backup the android folder i think it is, in it there is a DATA and OBB folder, thats where all your app data is stored...
