Ok here goes

OPC driver needs a box

I knew of a F23 in Kuils River that was advertised on Gumtree for R5000, I phone the man and it's someone I know.

I ask him if he still has the box and yes he does so I tell him I've got a buyer can I give him your contact.

He says yes but tell him I want R 5000, if the box is for you, you can get it for R4500

I say okay, I'll let the man know but he also adds that there are 2 other guys interested in the box. I ask him to reserve it as this man will definitely take the box

No can do says the man, so I give him the R 4500 and keep the box by me

OPC driver lets me know I only have R 4000 can I give you the rest month end and I agree to that.

Then I go drop the box off at he's house and he pays me R 4300.

Fine I'm off and a day or 2 after that he lets me know the box doesn't fit and I can't understand as the owner told me it will fit on any 2 ltr Opel block

So then I told him I'll get hold of him and pop around he's house again which I did not as it was weekend and I went to party (this part I know I was wrong at)

Anyway pop'd by his place last night and I saw what he meant it don't fit

Tried getting hold of the owner but no luck.

I tell him I'll find out exactly how we can resolve the issue which I did.

Got hold of numerous people and all of them told me the exact same thing, which I forwarded to the OPC driver.

He then decides he wants his money back which I agree to at 1st but then speak to the man I bought the box from and he wants to know nothing as I wanted a F23 and he sold me a F23

So now I tell OPC driver but I cannot give you your cash back as this man will only do it if something has to be wrong with the box and he blows top gasket making all kinds of threads

I then decide I purchased a F23 with LSD and so what I would do is take my box remove the LS and fit a normal Coupe/OPC diff and give him the box

OPC driver agrees to that and a few minutes later he calls me to say it's fine, he's mecky will swap the diffs and bellhouse casings then he will get back to me if it doesn't work

Firstly you need to know that I bought the box from you so at the end of the day I have nothing to do with the guy you got the box from. Also you promised me sayin that if it doesn't fit or broken you will refund me. You saying you bought the box from that guy meaning its your box now so if there is a refund needed its your responsibitly to pay it as I bought it from you.
Also the avoiding of calls made me suspect as well because as soon as I told you about the problem I never heard from you until sunday.
At the end of the day you sold me a box that doesn't fit and not going to refund

And after me and him fighting over email he came with this solution. I had to lose my cool for juan to make a plan. So now I'm waiting on the maky now to see if not I will take that box because either way I'm not gonna get my money.
