So my work colleague took his car into some mechanic in Wynberg 2 weeks ago, they did some work on the head gasket and had a service done.
The when he got the car back he noticed a heavy petrol smell from the car, and it takes longer to start, now that kaas mechanic is telling him that the supply to the fuel pump is cracked, and that they didnt touch the supply pipe... any suggestions going forward with this?
What car is it ie make, model etc...Depending on where along the fuel line it is cracked, will be an indication on whether it was their wrong doing or not,or whether it is even the pipe that is cracked or not just them not connecting the fuel rail properly when they did the head gasket etc.
